TAGS Gymnastics has a highly competitive girls USA Junior Olympic team. Our competitive teams are organized according to the guidelines of USA Gymnastics. TAGS competes USAG levels 5-10 with ages of competitors ranging from 7-18 years of age. TAGS currently has state, regional and nationally ranked athletes. Gymnasts are invited to join the team based on their readiness and space availability.Watch the team bulletin board at the gym for more information.

Awards and Recognition
- Ally Hommerding was the level 7 State Bar Champion with a score of 9.475!
- Level 9 Megan Buss and level 10 Taylor Helle qualified for the Regional Championships in Kansas City, April 9-11. Congratulations!

On January 23-24 Tags EP level 7-10’s competed at Concordia University at the Crowley’s Winter Challenge. Annika Svendsen placed 2nd in the all-around with a 35.625 and Molly Minnich was just behind her with a
35.325 placing her 3rd. Megan Haug placed 3rd on floor with a 8.9 and Kelly Johnson posted a great floor score of a 8.925. Level 9 Megan Buss had a great meet placing 3rd in the all-around with a 33.975 and 2nd on beam with a 8.6. The level 7-9’s travel to the Wisconsin Dells this weekend for the WI Dells Vacation Classic.- Friday January 8, Tags EP level 7 and 8’s competed at the Gopher Invite at the University of Minnesota. It was a tough competition with top teams from around the area. Annika Svendsen placed 1st on bars with a 9.5, 4th on beam with a 9.075 and 2nd in the all- around. Molly Minnich was 1st on vault with a 9.2 and 2nd on beam with a 9.2 which placed her 4th in the all-around. Karsten Gonzalez was right behing Molly on vault scoring a 9.175 placing 2nd. Karsten also went 2nd on floor with a 9.25. The Level 7 team placed 2nd in the meet with a team score of 106.825! Level 8 Megan Johnson placed 4th on vault with a 9.075. On Saturday the level 9-10‘s competed. Level 9 Megan Buss had a good meet hitting all 4 events. Level 10 Taylor Helle placed 4th on beam with 8.825.
The level 5-6 3rd state qualifier took place last weekend at Classic Gymnastics. This was the last opportunity for the gymnasts to get their qualifying score for state. The girls had their best meet yet.- The level 5 team scored their highest team score of the year 104.15. Kate Grotenhouis had a standout meet scoring a 33.85! Caitlin Tanner scored a
8.775 on floor in a music-less routine and Ari Balfour got a 8.85 on beam which placed her 7th. State Qualifiers include: Kate Grotenhouis, Sophie Keller, Evelyn Adams, Caitlin Tanner, Ellie Dulac, Ari Balfour, Alyssa Olson, Breanne Heine, and Lexi Klockner. - The level 6 team had two third place finishers! Lucy Graham on beam with a 9.0 and Isabel Busyn on vault with a 9.025. Level 6 State Qualifiers
include: Emily Simpson, Lucy Graham, Isabel Busyn, and Kate Anderson.

- TAGS EP Gymnasts competed in their 2nd state qualifier last weekend. Level 5 highlights include Sophie Keller placing 2nd on beam with a 9.125 and Ellie Dulac placing 5th on bars with an 8.9. Level 6ʼs had 2 State Qualifiers! Emily Simpson scored a 32.00 and Lucy Graham scored a 32.725. Level 5 State Qualifiers include Sophie Keller, Evelyn Adams, Breanne Heine, Elllie Dulac, and Lexi Klockner. The girls have one more chance to qualify at the 3rd and final State Qualifier, November 21-22.
