Gymkids Program

Boys & Girls Walking to Age 4

Overview

The goal of our program is to introduce gymnastics while teaching basic body awareness through movement. Students will be introduced to basic tumbling, bars, balance beam, trampoline and a variety of other activities that will help with strength, coordination, flexibility and fine & gross motor skill development. Each week, and from session to session, we vary the lesson plan to continue to challenge each child in a fun, new way. We provide a positive environment for a confidence building experience!

If you register after the session has begun, we will prorate tuition accordingly before processing payment.  A $40 Annual Family Fee is due from new & returning families each school year

HELPFUL FAQ’s

Can I go into the class with my child?

We offer parent/child classes for children who have just started walking up through age 3. To learn more, click on the GymBabies (0-23 months) or Toddlers (2-3 years) tabs. Parent/Child Classes require an adult to actively assist in the gym the entire class.

Which level should I register my child for?

GymKids classes are separated by age.  If your child will have a birthday within the first 3 weeks of a session, register for the level of the age they will be turning.  Most 3 year olds register for the Tots class without a parent.  That being said, if you would like to do class with your child or if you feel they may have difficulty separating from you or staying with the group, we recommend you register for the Toddlers class with a parent.

Do I need to stay throughout the class?

Gymnasts enrolled in GymBabies or Toddlers must have an adult present to actively assist throughout the class. If you are the adult of a gymnast in the Tots or Minis classes, we ask you remain in the GymKids lobby throughout the duration of the class to assist your gymnast with bathroom breaks or other unexpected events.
